An island of coastline and roads, Prince Edward Island was our final stop on this leg of our Canadian tour. Neither of us had any real reason for heading over to Canada’s smallest Province, other than to see what the capital of Charlottetown has to offer. Due to where we were coming from we opted for the free ferry outbound from Pictou, Nova Scotia and would take Confederation Bridge back to New Brunswick. PEI transportation charge a toll of $46 CAD for leaving the island by bridge and $71 CAD by ferry – there is no cost for travel to the island.
